• Life Changes

I had no idea 9 months ago when I wrote the post Colder Weather that I wouldn’t have the time or even desire to blog for such a long time.  As my title says, there have been a lot of Life Changes in the past nine months.  For the most part, I can’t talk about a lot of the changes but to say one of our children has gone through some major issues which have impacted our lives tremendously.  It’s been a long, hard, tiring, road, but we’ve seen the Lord work miracles during this time.  The Lord gave me Ephesians 3:20 when it first started getting really hard in…

Outside my window…Overcast skies, but warmer.  I see snow melting, and that means a lot to us.  We have piles and piles of snow and where we haven’t touched it, we have close to two feet of snow.  I am done with the snow this season.  🙂 I am thinking…That I am totally done with winter this year.  I usually don’t mind our winters and snow, but this year, we’ve had so much snow, I’m done.  😉  I keep telling Paul that Northern Arizona is looking pretty good.  I want warmer, but I still like my seasons.  Once we get into spring, I’ll like being here again, but right now,…

  • Thanksgiving 2016

We had a great Thanksgiving this year.  I cooked the turkey and baked pumpkin pie on Wednesday.  Sarah baked apple crisp at her house, then came over and spent the night Wednesday night.  We all got up Thursday morning and watched the parade.  It’s one of our most favorite Thanksgiving traditions.  We also had some baked oatmeal for breakfast and just enjoyed lounging around together. By early afternoon Paul and I had the dressing put together, Sarah and I had mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes ready to serve, and the turkey had warmed up nicely in the oven.  All the food was great, and we enjoyed our time together, taking…
