• Starting out 2016

As I’m looking at the start of 2016, and the ending of 2015 (ok all of 2015) I just realize more and more how truly blessed I am.  I was looking through pictures to share, going back a few months trying to find some non-snow pictures, and looking at them reminds me of my many blessings. First of course is my family.  I truly don’t know what I did to deserve the family the Lord gave me, but I am blessed He did.  My husband is truly the perfect fit for me, and my children are just such a blessing to have around.  I know in this coming year there…

  • Christmas 2015

We had such a fun, and blessed Christmas this year.  We had friends over on Christmas Eve and enjoyed a nice dinner with them.  We watched some movies, chatted and just had fun. On Christmas day, it was beautiful outside with snow on the ground and a chilly nip in the air.  We all opened our gifts and were surprised and quite happy about all of them.  Usually we make lists for each other, but this year we decided no lists.  So I was a little worried about some of the things I bought for Paul, but he enjoyed them all.  As did what we picked out for the kids. …

  • Family Outing

There are lots of great places to visit here in Idaho and the surrounding states.  We are blessed that lots of these sites are less than 5 hours away. One of my cousins and a 2nd cousin came in for a visit last week and we decided to visit one of these sites, Craters of the Moon.  Now it’s sad to say, we’ve been in Idaho for going on 12 years, and this is the first time we’ve ever visited Craters, but after this visit, we will definitely visit it again.  It was so much fun and so beautiful and I actually went caving for the first time ever.  It…

  • A Blessed Christmas ~ 2014

We had such a great Christmas this year.  We were able to spend Christmas Eve with friends, enjoyed some yummy snacks and watching a movie together.  Then, after we got home, before we went to bed on Christmas Eve the snow started!  We woke up to a beautiful, white Christmas. We were all so happy about that.  It’s been so brown around here lately, and any snow we did have about a week ago was long gone.  Christmas just seems more like Christmas with snow.  Every time we heard White Christmas on Pandora, we just kept saying ‘Well, hopefully we’ll have one.’  And we did!  🙂 Like I said before,…

  • Thanksgiving 2014

We usually have Thanksgiving with friends either at their house or ours, but this year we decided we wanted to spend time with my family. We were a bit worried about weather, but thankfully by the time Thanksgiving came around, we were able to go. The kids went out Wednesday night and stayed at my parents house and Paul and I went out first thing Thanksgiving morning. We all stayed over Thanksgiving night and came home on Friday. It was such a good time and I’m so glad that we could make it. It was a blessed time out there, and I’m so glad we could make it. Now the…
