It’s so hard for me to believe that we just celebrated my first born 21st birthday!  That 21 years ago I was giving birth to my first child, 21 years!  Goodness, it doesn’t seem possible.  🙂  She has been living with her roommate for the past 3 months, and that’s going well.

But we are also getting used to the new normal, celebrating birthdays with her not living at home.  We scheduled it after her birthday, and had her come over for a cook out, cake and a few presents.  It was a good time, and she enjoyed it, but we all thought it was really odd when she had to go home afterward.  But that is our new normal, and we are all getting used to it.

I’ve done selfies before selfies were such a big thing. My best friend and I used to always do them and I’ve continued that with my family. Sarah and I do them all the time.

Eating outside enjoying the meal Sarah asked for; grilled brats, homemade scalloped potatoes and corn on the cob. And of course GF chocolate cake not pictured.
