    We had a vacation a couple of weeks ago.  It was a staycation mostly, but we did take a few days and go out to see my family.  My sister has a guest suite of sorts.  It’s a nice, big bedroom, with it’s own bathroom, a very comfortable bed, a couple of chairs and satellite TV (something we don’t have).  Plus we had free use of her living room every night and kitchen during the day.  We got to see family and enjoy some great time with them.  Carrie was sweet and tested about 3 different cookie recipes using GF flour, and they were all so good.   • Weekend fun

    Paul and I don’t always have a lot of money for weekend getaways, but thankfully we don’t always need it.  My parents live just over an hour away, where we used to live.  That area is a beautiful, mountainous area that we love to visit.  We stay at my parents house, which is not only free, but gives us time with my parents.  It’s a win win situation.   • Photo fun

    As I wrote about in another post, I’m trying to get out and do more FUN things.  One of those fun things is pulling out my camera more often.  I will admit, I’ve started taking more photos with my smart phone, which isn’t all that ‘bad’ but not a habit I really want to get in to.  I have a beautiful Nikon that my husband bought me a few years back and I really want to make sure I’m using it as much as possible.
