It was a great week last on for our fall vacation. We had fun, but also had a lot of time at home to relax and enjoy each others company. That’s what we usually like best about staycations. 🙂
On Monday we went to a corn maze, and had a blast. It was beautiful weather, not too windy and lots of fun things to do there. And the mazes were the best. They had about 4 or 5 mazes, and we went in all of them, though I don’t think we made it through all of them. It’s so hard to tell, but we got lost and turned around and just had a blast. We also stayed long enough that we were going through when it was dark. Thankfully we had a small flashlight with us when it got real bad. lol
We made a turkey meal on Tuesday, but it didn’t turn out quite like we thought it would. And we tried a new stuffing recipe, but that wasn’t real good either. So I have nothing to share, and we are bummed it didn’t turn out like we wanted but it’s all good. At least it didn’t happen during the holidays and we still have a freezer full of chopped up turkey meat, so it’s not bad.
We had our family photos taken on Wednesday, they turned out good. And enjoyed a great dinner with friends on Friday. Yep, it was a great week.
