Lots of easy recipes

I am finally getting my recipes typed up in Squidoo.  I’ve never had them typed up before, and now I have an easy place that I can go and find them.  Plus, with Squidoo’s recipe module it gives the option of printing the recipe.  That makes it very handy for me if I want to print them all out and have them in one place instead of in different recipe books.

If you’re looking for a fun recipe for a birthday party, you have to try my dirt cake recipe.  It’s always been a hit with my family.  Who doesn’t like homemade mac n cheese, it’s such a yummy comfort food.  Need something simple to add to your mac n cheese dinner?  How about easy dinner rolls?  They are so simple and easy, you’ll be surprised at how often you make them.  Don’t want a cheesy pasta dinner?  How about a nice helping of spaghetti and meatballs?  Make some homemade garlic bread with it, add a salad, and you have a complete meal.

Fun Recipes

I like having fun in the kitchen, cooking and baking.  Plus I’ve been teaching my teenage daughter how to cook and bake for the past few years.  It’s a lot of fun to watch her learn and see her having fun too.  I’ve written up quite a few of my recipes on Squidoo.  I really enjoy writing my recipes on Squidoo because they have a recipe module so that people can easily print out the recipe.  I have a list of recipes that I am going to be sharing on Squidoo, and I’ve just added one of my favorites, homemade pizza.  Both the dough and the pizza sauce are homemade.  I use to think that making homemade pizza was hard and time consuming, but it really isn’t.  Read my article if you want to know how easy it is.

Getting into the groove

I think I’m finally getting into a groove with online writing.  It’s been a hard process, mentally, for me getting things settled with what I want to do.  But I’ve prayed, talked with my hubby and I finally feel set with where I’m headed.

I’ve written a new lens tonight about how to make a blog button.  And I’m excited to see that my iPod Touch lens has moved up a bit.  I still haven’t written my next homeschool hub on HubPages, I hope to do that tomorrow or the next day.

I’ve joined RocketMoms and that has been great.  There are some great encouraging women on there, and I’ve learned a lot just from the few days I’ve been there.

Well that’s the update of how my work is going.  Thanks for stopping by.

Some different articles.

Things are going pretty well with my writing.  I got a big sidetracked reading, studying & trying to learn more about SEO and keywords.  I think I’ve learned enough for now, probably enough to be dangerous.  lol  I’ll try to remember to do keyword searches and such, but I like to write, and that’s what I’m going to focus on.  I will try to remember to do keyword searches but with Google’s algorithm change, it shows thinks are always changing.  So I’m going to start writing more.

I have written the first two parts in a 3-4 part series I’m writing about Irritable Bowel Syndrome.  Part one is here and part two is here.  I think they turned out ok, but until I finish writing all parts I’m not sure.  I’ll have to go back and edit them once I have them all written.   Making sure I didn’t repeat some information and that I didn’t forget some things I wanted to write.  This is my first series I’ve written, and at times I want to put all the information in one lens, it’s just easier when I’m writing.  But I know it’s better to spread the information out in different lenses.

I want to get back to writing some hubs too at HubPages.  I still have to get used to writing in two different places.  I’m working on a homeschool series on my HubPages, but I haven’t gotten back to it for a while.  I’m still in the learning stages of how to schedule my online time and utilize it the best.
