Well, like we knew would happen, our weather changed on Monday. Starting Monday morning the snow/rain mix started falling. I tried to get a picture of it. Obviously the white blurs are snow flakes.

By this morning our back yard looked like this. Got to love Idaho weather.

It is very pretty, and truthfully is already starting to melt. We’ll be up in the high 30′s and low 40′s in a few days. We get days like this once and a while.
Today I’ve been relaxing a lot on the couch. My stomach wasn’t feeling the best last night, and today I’m a bit better, just tired. It’s a blessing that my children are old enough to finish their lessons on their own and Sarah made dinner for us.
How nice is that? But resting on the couch all day has given me time to work on my cross stitch Christmas projects. I’m just about done with the cross stitch portion of my 4th project, only 4 more to go. But right now I’m getting ready to take Sarah to her bible study tonight. Thankfully Paul will be home later tonight when she needs to be picked up.
My 87 year old father has been sick the past few weeks, and though he is starting to do better, he’s going to finally go to the doctor this Friday, thankfully. He’s eating more, and moving around more, so that’s good. But he’s not feeling 100% and that’s bothering him (and us). He’s in great health for being 87, but I’m still I’m glad he’s getting checked out.
Tomorrow, Paul has the day off, so tonight is like a Friday night for us. We don’t have much planned, thankfully I get to rest some more tomorrow. The only thing we need to do is get Paulie to a gymnastics class. Our homeschool group gets together at a local gymnastics place where they have use of the gymnastics equipment, with trained personal there to watch over them. Sarah has her bible studies and get togethers, but Paulie needed something to do, so we are going to give this a try. I think it will be good for him. It’s not like he’s actually doing gymnastics for a sports thing, but it will be good for him to get together with his friends and get some extra exercise. And I’m glad that Paul gets to take him there and see it too. Dads miss out on so much sometimes because they are busy working so we can stay home and homeschool our kids. So I’m really blessed that Paul gets weekdays off once and a while and gets to see some of the things he doesn’t normally get to see. It should be a good day.
Well, I need to get Sarah to her bible study class. Hope you all have a great night.
