I would appreciate it if you would share this post:
I can get so wrapped up with work that I forget to do some of the ‘fun’ things I like to do, like blogging. 🙂 Yes, I’ve been busy with work. (Which, if you have ever wanted to check out SchoolhouseTeachers.com, please head over there now as it’s opened and free for you to see. But it’s only for a limited time, so make sure you check it out soon.) But I’ve also been busy with other things too, just not as much as I would like.
I was blessed with an Amazon gift card, so I’ve been searching for a new craft/work table. I just have a basic utility table set up right now, but it’s about an inch too short and not quite long enough. I did finally find one at Amazon, but the price jumped $43 in one day. 🙁 So I’m waiting right this minute, maybe it will go down again. I can’t wait to order it, it will be so nice to have a nice desk to finish my work area.
I’m also so excited about a new ministry/fellowship time I am involved in. A friend and I were out for breakfast one day and we started talking about crafts. She’s a quilter and does cross stitching. Of course I enjoy my share of crafts too. I’ve always thought about having a group of women get together for a craft/fellowship time. Nothing planned out, just meeting once a month, sitting around working on whatever crafts we bring and enjoy each others fellowship. When I mentioned that to her she said, “So why don’t you do that?” I told her that our house wasn’t big enough for it, which it isn’t. She has a house big enough and suggested we could use her house. And that started it all! 😀 We are going to meet the third Saturday of every month, at her house. We are going to have a small devotional time then just enjoy a time of crafting and chatting.
It really is such a surprise blessing and turning into a ministry, which is a surprise too. I just love how the Lord is taking a simple suggestion, a simple thought and desire, and seemingly turning into something so much more. I can’t wait to see what happens next month, and the months after that. I pray the Lord uses it beyond anything I can even dream of.
Talking with her also got me thinking of cross stitching again, so I’ve pulled out some of my old cross stitch patterns I’ve had and I’m going to do that for a while instead of crocheting. I have one just about done, and I went out and got the thread I need to finish it. I’m also going to go through other ones I’ve bought in the past and start a new one. I am quite excited about it all, and I love that I’ll be meeting with more Christian women who love to work on crafts.
That’s about it for now. I’ve been busy with other things, but no sense trying to write about them all right now. lol
Paul went on a mens retreat last week, up in the mountains, and took some beautiful photos. Here is a couple of them. 🙂

Beautiful snow pictures! Glad all is going well. 🙂
Beautiful snow pictures. Hope your desk goes back down in price as quickly as it went down.
Beautiful photos…hard to believe that it is spring today!
Oh, I do hope that the pricing went down and you are able to get table. Beautiful pictures!
Gorgeous photos! We get the snow, but not the mountains.
I would love to join your Saturday group! That would be so much fun! Too bad I’m nearly on the other side of the continent.
