I would appreciate it if you would share this post:
Hubby always surprises me before Valentines day with something sweet. This year it was roses and 3 days early. I do have to say, we are not one of those couples that does things like this only for Valentines day, we do it all year long. We just like to use Valentines day as an excuse to do it some more. 😉
I know this might seem like an odd picture, but if you look at where the arrow is pointing you will see there is a headphone jack on this phone! I used to use a headphone all the time with my cordless phone, I love to walk around and do things while talking. Then phones would break, we would get new ones and eventually they stopped making phones with headjacks. It wasn’t that big of an issue until this year. Besides missing it in general, I have work meetings on the phone, and not having a headset was not good. It took a while to find a phone with a jack that wasn’t over $100, but I finally found one! I’ve already used it a lot talking with my mom, for a work meeting and when I was on the phone for an hour setting up new car insurance. I’m so glad to have one again. 🙂
This is the flowers on a tea hat that I made with some friends at a crafty tea party I went to. Our woman’s bible study group has tea party’s every couple of months. We decided this month to make some tea hats for those of us who don’t have any when we go to the party’s. 🙂
Yes I know, showing a picture of my laptop can seem odd, but this has been where I spent most of my time this week. It was a busy work week so I was on it more than normal. I’m so thankful for this machine. I can do so much with it, and take it anywhere I want. Like right now as I’m typing this I’m fighting a cold so I’m curled up in my bed with my laptop working on photos and blog posts. Glad I don’t have to sit stiffly at a desk
Paul and I before he took me out for our Valentines lunch last Tuesday.
And why this picture? This picture actual shows how my hubby spoils me. This is his favorite candy ever, I bought it for him for Valentine’s day. But today, like I said, I’m dealing with a cold, and before he had to leave for work he gave me one of his favorite candy’s. Yes, I feel special. 🙂

It is wonderful that you make each other feel so special. I love the roses. They are so pretty. I hope you feel better soon.
Love the roses! Reeses are a weakness of mine as are M&M Peanuts. If they are around, I’ll eat them.
Like Phyllis, I hope you feel better soon. And I agree, I enjoy my laptop for all of the same reasons you noted. 🙂
I’m sorry you have a cold right now. That was sweet of your husband. 🙂
Such a sweet husband you have! Hope you feel better quickly!
good pictures. the roses are beautiful. I bet you look good in that hat. You both look good in the picture before you had your Valentines lunch. I pray that cold leaves quickly. Glad you can rest. Love
We haven’t had a land line in over 5 years… so strange to see one! Love your computer shot – your life right now. Hope my husband doesn’t see those BIG cups – he loves peanut butter cups! fun week!
Its the small things like a headphone jack that make life wonderful! Looks like you had a fantastic day. Hope you are feeling much better.
Aww…a precious week. Flowers are beautiful and the candy thoughts are so sweet. It’s nice to have the tools in our homes to make life easier.
