Our 4th was pretty mellow. Paul had to work, and I did some work too. Then we had friends over for ice cream and a movie. They had to leave before it got dark, but once it did get dark, we lit off some simple fireworks we bought. First, out here in the summer, we don’t get dark until around 10pm. It’s actually pretty nice. But also, most fireworks are illegal. There are fireworks stands all around town for the legal ones, and we got to buy some fun ones. Sarah and her room mate were here too, so it was nice having everyone home. 🙂
