I would appreciate it if you would share this post:
Yep, that’s what I have come up, a very crafty week. My mom, sister and I are going to a scrapbooking conference this weekend. Though we like scrapbooking, it’s not one of our favorite crafts. But this conference has classes for other crafts besides just scrapbooking. But mainly it’s a time for us three to get together for a weekend of fun. We’ll be staying at the hotel where the conference is, learning some new crafts, having 2 whole days of crafting and of course, lots of eating. 🙂
We’ll be meeting for lunch on Thursday, then driving the hour drive to the town the conference is in. Then we’ll get settled in our rooms. This is the best thing about the rooms, they are three connecting rooms! I’ve been in two connecting rooms before, but never 3. This should be a blast, a big fun sleepover. The conference is Friday and Saturday, so we’ll be busy those days with classes and craft time. We’ll head back home on Sunday. Paul has those days off, which is nice, it will give him some alone time with the kids and specifically with Paulie when Sarah is working.
I of course will be taking lots of photos to share next week. Not only of what we make, but of the fun times we have.
I’ve also been working on a few new crochet projects for Christmas. They are simple, easy projects, because obviously there isn’t much time before decorating for Christmas. But I just have such a hard time working on Christmas crafts in the middle of summer, so I need to keep them quick and easy to make during the holiday seasons. I’ll share some photos later this week. 🙂
So what about you? Are you working on Christmas crafts? Presents or just regular things?

so looking forward to the coming weekend. FUN is the main wording. And of course I’m working on the Christmas Calendars I make, but slow again this year. Man need to get organized better. See you Thursday Love
Your crafty getaway sounds like so much fun! Can’t wait to hear more!
I’ve got a few projects queued up for Christmas. Hope to have them done in November. Then I thought I might crichet some snowflakes for my tree. We’ll see.
