I’m currently working on two different crochet projects. Well, actually I haven’t started one of them, but I plan to start it this week. 🙂
I’ve been crocheting these quick and cute ornaments. They are actually a coaster pattern, just made smaller with crochet thread and a smaller hook. After I crochet them I add a cute little loop on it for hanging. I just bought this dark red thread the other day. I really like it for Christmas. It’s such an elegant color. I have my camera cap there so you can see the size of them.
I plan to make some more too. They crochet up real quick. I enjoy making them.
I was at a friends blog and I saw this beautiful scarf she crocheted and I knew immediately I wanted to try that project. I was so happy to find the book she got the pattern from on sale at my local store, I got it half off. 😀 You can’t beat that. I also have a stash of yarn I’ve been trying to decide what I wanted to make with it. Now I know what I’m going to use it for. Do you like the color I picked for my scarf?
I really enjoy the shell stitch, and I think it is very pretty. It also has a matching hat and mitten patterns, not sure if I’ll try and tackle those or not. I’ve been wanting to make a hat, but I’ve never tried one yet. I think I’ll just do the scarf first and enjoy that then decide about the hat. 😉
