Paul and I don’t always have a lot of money for weekend getaways, but thankfully we don’t always need it. My parents live just over an hour away, where we used to live. That area is a beautiful, mountainous area that we love to visit. We stay at my parents house, which is not only free, but gives us time with my parents. It’s a win win situation.
Last week we decided to get away for a 3 day weekend at my parents house. We mainly relaxed hanging out with my parents and cooking dinners together. But one of the days Paul and I went up further into the mountains to an old abandoned mine and a beautiful lake up there. It was a great time and we got some great pictures. We plan to go again in October, and visit some other beautiful mountain areas up that way.
