A creativity update

I’m trying to keep busy with different creative endeavors as much as I can. I still haven’t gotten out for a photography shoot like I would like to, but I have worked on some things.

Here is the baby blanket that I started a few weeks ago.

I know I should be farther along since I started it a couple of weeks ago, but I’m happy with the progress I’ve made so far. It’s a simple enough pattern, and works up pretty quick. Well, when I make the time to work on it. 😉

I think I might make some coasters soon. They are a nice, easy project and I need to fill up my gift box a bit more. But I’ll keep working on the blanket too.

I also had a chance today to work on some birthday cards too. Not only am I trying to build up my gift box, but I’m also trying to build up my card collection. 🙂

They turned out ok. I need to get some books from the library or check some sites and get some more ideas so my cards are a bit more creative. But it’s still fun to work with my Cricut and make what I can. 😀

  1. Love the baby afgan! So pretty. Your cards are very creative! I use to make cards and have plans to make personalized Christmas cards this year. I am in the midst of the Catherdal Window quilt. Hours and hours and hours left to go!

  2. I love your cards. the color paper is great. Very creative. And the afghan is wonderful. You get such interesting patterns. You go girl. Love

  3. You are doing more on the creativity front than I am, my friend! Those are beautiful cards! And I haven’t even had my knitting out in ages. My daughter has though. She is doing well.
