A day in pictures

We had a great day today, it was family photo day.  The morning Paul and I got to go for a walk together and just have some time together.  Then it was time to get ready for the photo shoot.  There is a homeschool mom in our group that went to college for photography.  Just last year she decided to offer her services to the families in our group.  We did it last year and loved it.  We decided to do it a bit earlier in the season, which was nice, and we all wore long sleeve shirts, and in the shade it was fine.  This year she had an apprentice with her, the daughter of another homeschool mom I know.  It was fun having both of them taking photos, and we’ll get two cd’s full of our photos in a week or so.  I can’t wait.
So is it funny that I was taking photos of them taking photos?  😆

The area my friend picked was absolutely beautiful.  I love some green leaves, and some orange.  We are definitely in the beginning of fall here.

I can’t wait to see this picture when we get the cd.  My kids are growing up so fast.

I’m not sure why but the way my bangs look really bother me.  They looked so much better at home before the wind got to them.  🙂

After the photo shoot we ran some errands than I decided to use my new griddle and make pancakes & sausage.  This is a Emeril solid cast iron griddle that my MIL and BIL’s bought me a few weeks ago.  It was so funny, they were talking about theirs, and I said I wanted to get one sometime.  But of course I can’t afford a real cast iron one, I was looking at the cheap ones.  They found this one, brand new, at a neighbors garage sale when they got back home and promptly bought it and sent it to me.  I was so blessed by it.  Tonight’s dinner was quite yummy.  🙂
