A sweet blessing with pictures

Our church has a monthly “Woman’s Night Out”, where a group of women meet, worship together, sometimes hear another woman’s testimony, watch fun or teaching videos, enjoy fellowship and of course, they always have some sort of chocolate there. 😉 I have only made one of these events, but I was fully determined to go to last nights event. I almost didn’t go, just because I wanted to lay around at home, but I did go, and I’m so glad I did. The fellowship was sweet and just what I needed. The Lord always knows what we need, even when we don’t. But another blessing, besides just being with these sweet women, was I won a coffee mug. 🙂 I really like different, unique coffee mugs. I don’t have any mugs that match. I love different kinds and different styles. The minute I saw things they were giving away, and I saw this mug, I really wanted it. But there were a pretty big group of women, and the odds were, I wasn’t going to win it. It was one of the last things they gave away, and I was shocked and blessed when they lifted up the mug as the next give away and they called my name. Like I said, the Lord truly knows what we need even when we don’t. And He knew I needed the encouragement and prayers of last night, and I would be blessed with this mug as a reminder. Of course I washed it right away when I got home so it would be ready for use this morning. 😀

I am also working on trying to ‘stage’ shots. I’m still not that relaxed with it, and I really need to take more time with my shots. I did try a few different angles with these shots, but I know I could have tried more. I’m still trying to work on this part of my photography, I know it will become easier the more I do it. Right? 😉

I didn’t feel like tea or coffee this morning, so hot chocolate it is. No mini-marshmallows, so the big ones will have to do. 😉
