Christmas Decorating

We decorated after Thanksgiving, but I’m just now getting to write about it.  🙂

We decided to decorate this year the Saturday after Thanksgiving, but we only had until early afternoon because Sarah had to work.  It was still a great time.  It’s so much fun pulling out all the ornaments and going down memory lane with some of them.  They all have such sweet memories and I love remembering where and how we got them.

We were a bit worried this year because we couldn’t find Sarah’s 1st Christmas ornament.  We looked everywhere, through all the boxes and couldn’t find it anywhere.  My heart was starting to break and then we finally found it!  You know where it was?  Someone had already hung it on the tree!  lol  We aren’t sure who did it, because honestly none of us remember putting it up there.  But it doesn’t matter, as long as we found it, I’m happy.

Here are some pictures of our decorating time.

Boxes and tree ready to be put up in that nice empty spot in front of the windows. Too bad there wasn’t any snow outside.

The finished tree. Do you like the garland on there? I crocheted it! 🙂

Up close of the garland. It truly was a fun project. I even made some more with red and green for over our fireplace mantel. Oh, and don’t you love that picture of Sarah and Paulie so many years ago?

  1. Love your tree and the garland looks great. Good job. Wow they sure are young on that ornament. Time goes so fast. A good job by all of you. Thanks for sharing it. Love
