I would appreciate it if you would share this post:
It’s really been a fun and blessed week. We’ve been having a great time on our school break. It hasn’t been slow by any means, but it’s been fun. We went to our church’s Christmas party last Friday. We’ve only been at this church since April, so this was our first time at the party. It was a lot of fun.
On Saturday night I was blessed with a great surprise. Right before I went to bed I checked my email and saw that I had won a Cricut Mini!! I wasn’t sure when I would receive it, and was expecting to get it sometime next week. To my happy surprise it was delivered to my house on Tuesday afternoon!
Paul has been saying he was going to buy me an Expressions machine around tax time, but I’m not sure now if I want one. There is a huge difference between the two, but right now I’m liking the Mini. I guess I’ll know after using the mini for a couple of months which one I like better. The main difference is that the Mini is all computer based, you know how much I like that. 😉
Sarah and I baked cookies all day on Tuesday, I think we are now stocked with snacks. 😀 Today the kids and I went to the library, ran some errands, and I finally found my Christmas cookies. I know, why buy cookies when we just baked some? Because my favorite cookies are Belgium cookies, but I can only find them around here during Christmas time. But being this is a small town, they do sell out quickly. There was some at our local Sam’s club, but by the time I got there they were sold out. 🙁 I wasn’t sure if any other stores had them, the ones I checked didn’t have any. But there was one last store I wanted to try, that’s where we went today, and if Sarah hadn’t seen them at the end of an aisle I would have missed them. So glad she saw them, I am one happy camper now. lol
We’ll be seeing my mom and then going to a Christmas party on Friday, that should be a great day. Though we have been busy, it hasn’t been too busy, which is nice. We are all done with wrapping gifts and getting them under the tree. It always feels good when that’s done. Speaking of gifts and our tree…
Oh and my cousin sent me a beautiful ornament,

What fun to get your Cricut early!! I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I enjoyed seeing your Christmas photos!
oh what a beautiful tree. You decorate it so pretty. I’m so glad you like the cricut mini. I thought you should when its all computer based. I’m happy for you. Its so great. If when I get there Friday if you need the Cricut Expression out of your way just let me know. I look forward to seeing the mini as you use it. Looks like you made a card already so cool. Looking forward to Friday. Praying the weather holds good. See you then. Love
Sounds like a fun week. We went to see the holiday train display yesterday afternoon and that was fun. If any of the photos turned out, I’ll post them on my blog. Enjoy your new machine and congratulations! Heather
Yay for school breaks!!! And for cookies!!! How is the mini different from the one you borrow from your mom? It doesn’t look small!
Your tree looks beautiful! Congratulations on winning the mini cricut. The Lord certainly blesses you doesn’t He. What fun baking cookies all day. I miss those days when I would bake like that. One year before Thanksgiving I baked fourteen dozen cookies and nine pies and thought I would have cookies left for school lunches the next week. Wrong! Everything was all gone two days after Thanksgiving!! haha I never did that much baking again. just did what I needed for the time. Love, Auntie Ella
