My Ramblings

No photos this time, just a rambling post of what’s been going on with us. We have been doing great, and the Lord continues to bless us. I’m still shocked and in awe of all the blessings He is poured on us. Yes, He has blessed us financially, and has helped us tremendously while Paul is laid off. But most importantly He has blessed us with such encouraging and uplifting friendships. We are continually amazed at the people He brings into our lives, and are always touched by them. We’ve also enjoyed having Paul home with us. He’s seen what we do during the day, and it’s encouraged him, and through that he’s encouraged us.

Our school lessons are going great, and we have a week and a half left then we are off until January 5th. We have been quite busy, but all with fun things. We’ve gone to our homeschool groups Christmas party last night. I have a cookie exchange to go to on Saturday, and a couple of other parties at friends houses. The kids and I saw a junior version of the ballet The Nutcracker last week, and that was a blast. We are really enjoying living out here. Paul and I got to go to our favorite Italian restaurant last week and did some Christmas shopping for the kids. I have a feeling come January I’m either going to sleep a lot and try to rest from this month, or I’m going to miss going out all the time. 🙂

I’m just about done with the Christmas gifts that I’ve been making. Truly, it will be nice when I am finished. I have some website work I need to do, plus I just learned how to do tatting (a craft) and I really want to try my first project. We are starting to get some snow out here, and we have a chance for snow all week, so it will be nice to curl up with a craft or book and watch the snow.

Thanks for reading my ramblings. I’ll try to post some pictures soon. God Bless.
