Our 4th of July weekend

It’s good to be back home and I’ve finally found some time to sort, edit and upload photos from our weekend.  As I’m writing this post I still don’t know what’s going to happen with our Jeep.  We are a bit concerned that they might try to ‘total’ our Jeep since it has about $3300 worth of damage and it’s only worth about $4000.  But we currently don’t have a car payment with this Jeep and it’s still in real good condition, so we are completely against that.  I’m waiting for the adjuster to call.  Guess I just have to wait and see.  🙂

Friday night was our VBS potluck dinner and then on Monday our VBS week starts.  It’s going to be a very busy week.  I’m hoping the Jeep issues won’t complicate things more for us.  I’ve talked to Paul and even after the adjuster gives us the information, we might wait until the following week before putting the Jeep in the shop.  I just can’t see trying to get Paul to and from work each day next week while working VBS too.

Here are some pictures from our 4th of July parade.  I thought these were cute.

The way they colored these horses I thought was great.

I’ve never seen a bike like this.

These guys were the best. Just normal lawn guys and they put together a dance routine.  To see ‘normal’ people giving a go at dancing in public, I thought was great.

This was our church’s VBS float. We didn’t win anything this year, but I think they did a great job on it.
