Photo Sharing

How do you share your photos?  Is it strictly on Facebook?  Instagram only?  Maybe just your blog?  Or do you share them on multiple venues?

That was a question I was asking myself lately.  I like to share through my Flickr, my blogs and Facebook but I’ve seen a lot of use through Instagram.  I’ve never thought much of Instagram because I tend to take more pictures with my Nikon and not my phone.  But the other day I took the plunge and joined Instagram.

I still can’t decide how much I like it.  I know it’s a great way to share photos from a phone, but I don’t take a lot of photos with my phone, and I really don’t know if I want to start.  I want to make sure I’m continuing to learn how to use my main camera.  But I do like the idea of being able to quickly upload photos to different social media sites.  I wonder if it will make me stop using my main camera?  I hope not, but I guess we’ll see.

But to my original questions, how do you share your photos?  I would love to hear what you all choose to do.  🙂

  1. I was late to Instagram, too. I found a service called Chatbooks that sends my Instagram photos to me in a nice little-printed book. It is the only way I get prints anymore! Otherwise, it is the blog and facebook. I tweet, but not very often. Twitter is kind of boring. Instagram is my favorite because it is usually a happy place, not so with Facebook. Facebook can depress me!
