We were suppose to go see my parents today, but we’ve been having some issues with the house and needed to be here for the landlord. It’s our weekend, and I didn’t have anything else planned (since I thought I would be gone) so I decided to play all afternoon on my cricut and see what new cards I could make. I worked on cutting out different sayings like Thank You, Happy Birthday, and Thinking of You. I’ve made them before with stamps, but this time wanted to cut them out and see how it would look. Most of the day I just practiced on old scraps of paper, getting them to the size I wanted. I did make some cards though. Want to see? 🙂
They are still on the simple side, but I did make the sayings 3D looking by putting them on with cushioned tabs. I really like how they turned out.
I also wanted to show you the Christmas card I made this year. They have been mailed and family has received them so I can now share what it looked like on here. 😀
I’ve been having a great time making cards and really enjoying becoming a bit more creative. I’m also still working on my crocheting, making Christmas gifts for my extended family. Plus I’m starting to pick up my camera more. So I’m continuing to work on three of my favorite creative endeavors, card making, photography and crocheting. Speaking of which, I should get off of here and pick up my crocheting. Otherwise my family might not get anything from us this year. 😉
