I was blessed with an awesome birthday. I was a bit under the weather on my birthday, and didn’t do a lot that day, but the way my family loved on me was a blessing. I didn’t get all my gifts on my birthday, some were delivered later in the week. Plus, they are going to take me out to a birthday lunch, but it probably won’t be until the first week of September. I want to go to a place that’s about an hours drive, and this coming week we really need to rest up, so we’ll wait. But I want to show you all the things my family blessed me with.
Remember when I was talking about playing scrabble more and wishing I had the deluxe Scrabble? Yep, I’ve got it now!
No, I haven’t played it yet, just too busy. Hopefully we’ll play it soon.
I love my hubby.

My parents also gave me some money which is being tucked away for a tablet for me. I don’t think I’ll be going with an iPad, I’ll probably pick something else. But I’m half way to the money needed for one. Don’t worry, if/when I ever get one, I’ll be sure to share some photos of it. 😀

On my birthdays I usually only get one present, and often don’t get it on my birthday at all. And often I pick it. It is lovely to be surprised though, and last year my family bought me a gift–a beautiful tea mug–and I didn’t know a thing about it beforehand.

The fair must have been fun! By walking so much, you gained muscle, so you are still ahead. What’s more, you had a great, relaxing time, and that’s a component of health, too. 😉
