• Photography in 2016

I’m not a New Years resolution person, but I do like setting goals for myself when possible.  And of course at the beginning of any year, it seems like a good time to evaluate and work on some goals.  At times I hate talking about goals because then if I don’t follow through, I feel like I’ve failed.  But you know what, I’m not going to let that stop me from sharing.  If I accomplish some of my goals, that is great, if I don’t, then that’s fine too.  🙂 One of the goals, or things I want to work on this year is my photography, specifically composition.  I have…

  • Simple Woman’s Daybook ~ 3/22

FOR Sunday March 22 Outside my window…Bright blue skies mid 60’s.  I am really enjoying this weather.  I think I’ll get outside and take some photos today. I am thinking…That I need to make more time in my life for photography.  I’m really missing it, but my days seem to fly by.  I need to slow them down and enjoy my hobby more. In the kitchen…I made corned…

So lets go ahead and work on the actual Blog Hop questions.  🙂 What am I currently working on? Well I just finished a cross stitch project, which I’ve worked on most of the summer.  I did start a simple…

They whip up pretty easy. I made some last year, but all I had was a variegated red and white cotton yarn. I like this yarn much better with the green in it. I think it goes with our Christmas decorations much better. I’ve made 5 of them so far, I need to make one or two more. I’ll be working on them later today. This is the yarn for my next few projects. I know what I’m making with the…
